Proceeding Word Church

Where we are now does not necessarily reflect where we will be tomorrow.
We use our yesterday as a milestone, to convey that we have traveled into today, so we may maximize the moment for our tomorrow.

Our yesterday reflects on the history and stepping stones of Proceeding Word Church.
The vision for PWC was given to Pastor John and confirmed by 1st Lady Michelle on Sunday December 7,2003 at The Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas. The inception took place in May 2004 with our first congregation being 5 people (4 of which were Pastor John, Lady Michelle and their 2 children). One new member strong, did not deter him from the vision God gave him a few months earlier, but instead propelled him into the great things which were in store for us here in Las Vegas. The radio ministry saturated the airwaves, strengthening us to move to the next milestone of 6212 West Charleston Blvd on November 7,2004. After 4 years we are bursting at the seams and have secured our next port of call at 4089 Rancho Drive as we continue our journey on the "Road to the Dome".

Our name is derived from Matthew 4:4- Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God .....hence came our name "Proceeding Word".
Proceeding Word Church is God's by ownership, entrusted to Pastors John & Michelle Ayabina by stewardship and to our devoted rope-holders by membership. We look forward to you being a part of the fast growing history here at "The Word"!
